Rain on your Wedding Day?
Your pictures can still be great!
Experience counts when conditions are poor. Our photographers have shot nearly 1,000 weddings , so we know that prior planning produces perfect pictures. Which is why we insist upon a pre-wedding planning meeting with all our clients to visit every location where pictures are to be taken. We expect the best, plan for the worst. Bride and Groom and the photographer need to know how to shoot pictures which capture Special Moments on your day, whether it rains or not
Our advice? Choose a photographer who has managed to shoot wonderful pictures on other brides’ rainy days. Also choose the reception location very carefully, asking yourself two questions: where will your guests go if it’s raining on the day? Where will the photographer shoot the pictures?
Four other points to check:
- White and multi coloured golf umbrellas can help your photographer create wonderful rainy day pictures. Most petrol stations sell them for around £3.00 each. Buy 25.
- You won’t regret the purchase if it rains on the day and you can always sell them on ebay if it doesn’t.
- The bride should pack a spare pair of white pumps because, if it’s rained during the day, or the night before, stilettos sink into the turf – pumps won’t.
- Insure your wedding. It’s cheap enough and like all insurance premiums they’re only expensive if you don’t make a claim. If you do – the premium was really cheap.
If you have prepared by studying these points, rain on the day won’t spoil your wedding.
